PENCIL PROJECT
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, VISITING LECTURER, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The advertising industry struggles to attract and retain diverse professionals, often overlooking unconventional pools of creative talent. This results in mass marketing that frequently misses the mark with America’s growing majority. To address this, we developed a semester-long curriculum and creative boot camp at Chicago State University to introduce more students of color to advertising. The program included a university-accredited course, mentorship, internships, and scholarships to power career pathways into the creative industry.
